We are so happy to share that our Irish Wolfhound, Moose, found a very loving home with Don and Dixie in Nebraska! Moose and Don struck up an immediate bond and that sure made it easier to surrender him. Thank you, Rescue Me, for helping us find the right people for our boy! We can rest easy knowing he will be cared for, loved and happy with his new home! Merry Christmas to all and have a safe holiday! God bless!

My husband and I were amazed by the number of folks who saw our post and immediately contacted us for information about Gina. Since the posting was a spur-of-the-moment event once I heard about Rescue Me, we quickly realized that for a successful outcome, Gina would have to be able to be loaded into a crate in order to make it to her new home. We had not been trying to handle her as she was so suspicious of anything new we tried to do with her, but we did attempt to see how well or badly she might lead, etc. We were shocked that she has evidently never worn a collar or been led and our initial effort was met with total panic on her part! The possibility of being able to relocate her to a safe place grew very unlikely. However, an awesome couple from made the long trip to pick her up today! They volunteer at their local shelter, help with rescues, and knew how to approach Gina and gain her confidence enough that she was fairly quickly secured in a crate with no fuss and on her way to a fenced home with kids, other dogs and even cows to play with! The outcome is so much better than we could have hoped! This site saved a very needy dog! We will miss her, we won't miss worrying about her roaming far and wide, and the inevitable searching the highway for her body. She is one very lucky dog!!!

My mom told me I'm going to live with a new family. I'm excited to gain a new fur sister and lots of space to run and play. My new owners sound fantastic and have been lovers of the Irish Wolfhound breed for many years being home to eight Irish Wolfhounds before me. I'm looking forward to home made meals and treats! I can't wait for my new adventures. I'll miss my family, but I know I'm going to have a much more fun and fulfilling life where I'm going. Thank you Rescue Me!

Thank you for having Rescue Me available! I especially wish to thank Columbiana County Dog Pound for posting this beautiful Irish Wolfhound/ Lab cross to get the word out to a larger audience. We have been looking for this type of mix for quite a while. We named her Judy. She is adjusting to life with our crazy household of children, chickens, and cats. She is where she's supposed to be.

Thank you for this wonderful service! We were able to find a new home for our dog within one week! We are so thankful that all could end well for our little Wolfhound, and are happy to share that her new home will be a wonderful place (where she will be loved and spoiled, and will be an only dog who can keep all the petting for herself). Thanks, Rescue Me!

Thank you to everyone who emailed us about the Irish Wolfhound /Black Lab mix named Girl. She was adopted by a really nice couple with a young son who live on three acres. Girl is now living her dream of belonging to people who will love and care for her with room to run and chase squirrels. We are especially grateful to Rescue Me for this website which made this all happen. A thank you donation is in the mail.

Mr. Jeff Gold, MoJo was roaming the neighborhood, he was running out in front of cars. My daughter and I rescued him. We began looking for his owner, while at the vet visit looking for a chip, it was suggested I contact Rescue Me for Irish Wolfhounds. After completing the post on the website, I received four contacts of interest within 24 hours. I followed the website's rules like asking questions of the person wanting him, contacting the vet they used, and so on. From the very first, one individual stood out as a great fit for MoJo. Even though they live five hours away, nineteen days later we were able to meet. MoJo went to a great home with a wonderful person. Thank you, Rescue Me. This whole process was easy and simple, with your guidance. This wonderful dog now has a home where he is safe and loved.

We had two wolf hounds. They are amazing boys. I am so grateful to Rescue Me for helping us to find homes for both of them. We were unable to care for them or give them the room that they deserved to play. Cerberus went to a wonderful family. They have plenty of room and much more experience with large breed dogs than my family has. Styxx is my favorite story to tell. I spent seven years in the United States Army and am extremely happy to know that I helped one of my Sisters in Arms in her recovery. Styxx went to a disabled veteran. Both of our boys will be happy and pampered. They will live the good life that they deserve! I could not be happier with the hard choice that we had to make. Thank You so much for providing a website where honest owners can be found for Man's Best Friend!

We have watched Rescue Me, and grown with them and our dogs. Our last rescue went back home to his original owner, who cried when she heard he had been found. So power to Rescue Me and those chips. They both work!

Lennox's Dad was having a hard time letting him go, but due to his circumstances, he had to. Lennox found an amazing family to go to within two hours of posting on Rescue Me! Lennox is now going to have the life his Dad wishes he could have kept giving him, and thanks to this site, Lennox will never have to know what being in a shelter is like.

I put our son's dog on Rescue Me! last night and found him a new forever home today just 4 miles from where he lives. Thank you Rescue Me! for all your help... the responses were amazing.

I posted my Irish Wolfound mix Jules on your website. I live in the Outerbanks, NC and I rescued her from a kill shelter in hopes of finding her a home. A very nice family in Tampa, FL drove two days to my home and adopted her. She lives with a lovely couple and a shepard named Max. She has a pool in her backyard so she can swim anytime she wants. Thank you for helping me reach out on the internet and find her a wonderful family. Sheila Nelson

A local couple called us within twenty minutes after posting our ad for our dog Monk. We were really relieved that we did not have to give him up to a shelter. We thank you and the RescueMe website for your free valuable service. Felix and Dorothy DeAngelis.
