Putting an immediate call out to the world to see if anyone knows of a loving person, couple or family (with older kids) who has no other pets who might be interested in adopting or even fostering the great human companion Norma. A 17-month old, medium-sized wire-hair terrier/schnauzer/possibly Irish Wolfhound mix, she is a dream inside the home and with people, an absolute love of a sidekick. She would thrive in a place perhaps with a large fenced-in field where she could roam freely and, again, not have contact with other pets, as she has shown aggression with dogs and leashed animals. Please let me know, and please share if the spirit ... (Read More)moves. She is absolutely loving and is a great companion for someone in the right situation. Thank you. I can be reached at 646-263-6067. This is urgent. (Less)

PIease Read Before Adopting an Irish Wolfhound in North Carolina
Irish Wolfhound Dogs can make good pets in North Carolina if they match your IifestyIe. The Irish Wolfhound is an enormous dog rivaling the Great Dane in height. Despite its imposing size, the Irish Wolfhound is a gentle, friendly animal that is trustworthy with children. Irish Wolfhounds are friendly with strangers, but may deter intruders simply by their intimidating size. It is important to train an Irish Wolfhound when it is a puppy so that it can be managed as a massive adult. Irish Wolfhounds generally get along well with other pets. This giant breed certainly needs a large yard with a high, secure fence.
